Were you here last year? If so you know that this a night of fireworks and fun. We are able to see several city displays and if you stick around long enough - about 10pm there is an awesome display of neighborhood fireworks that shoot off right over our heads. Many left early last year and missed the best of the night.
Basic plan will be a BBQ at the house beginning about 6pm then at dark we will walk down to the lake for the fireworks shows.
Everyone please bring a dish to share for a picnic theme ( NO CHIPS ) - desert, salad, fruit, side dish, vegetable, bbq beans etc. ALSO please plan on $5.00/adult or $10.00/family donation to help with cost of meat (brisket, sausage and hot dogs) and all paper goods etc. There will be water and tea available so bring your own drinks if you want something different. Bring your lawn chairs, flashlights, bug spray etc.
You can also buy and bring out your own fireworks and enjoy with your kids - you will need to be responsible with these even thou we are directly on the lake the grass will be dry etc.
Feel free to bring out your boat, jet ski etc. There are places along the shore but you will have to put-in across the lake in Little Elm.
Parking will be a challenge so carpooling is recommended! When you get to the neighborhood there will be people directing the parking but plan on walking around the neighborhood - you are welcome to drop off food/kids at the house then go park if you have alot to carry. There will be a table set up for check in, name tags, donations at Tori's driveway - that is where you can drop off your stuff!
