Truly this was an amazing event! Hats off to the contestants and to all those involved who helped bring our communities together and make this a stunning success.
Hey Leather Folks and NE Ursamen. It was sure a learning experience being up in front of such a big group in the outside courtyard. Of course, we all want to win but it is a tough and rigorous evening. I am very thankful for Jason and Barry's Partner for their coaching during the evening. The important thing is that contributions were made to the soup kitchen. It looked like a good time was had by all!
I must say it was nice to see fellow ursamen there, there was a good crowd and all I can say is the new Mr. CT Leatherman is a very good choice by the judges and he is a New Haven stud, what else can we all ask for.

It's time once again for the annual Mr. CT Leather Contest. The Ursamen's own Barry Walters is the outgoing titleholder and he's looking for a few good men to take his place! In addition, Ursa-President Dave "Skeeter" Bielski will be one of the judges.
Hello Men! We are still looking for a contestant or two! Any interest? That stage could be yours! Write me directly if you have an interest.... mrctl2009@yahoo.com.
While I feel I could do this for another year, it is time to step aside for the next Mr CTL. I am very excited about this event... so many things on the slate! A pre-contest cocktail hour to benefit local soup kitchen... a raffle for gift baskets... and possibly more! Not to mention... the next Mr CTL!
