Are you ready for some fun and fellowship with other volunteers and then the teens? It's going to be a day packed full of fun, food and fellowship!
We'll first meet at the church around 3:30 p.m., for an apple pie bake-off contest, please bake your pie ahead of time and bring it to the church ready to share. We'll have a few judges who'll pick the best pie! If you're planning to bake a pie for the contest I need to know by October 14th!
After we've determined the apple pie winner, we'll order some pizzas and enjoy some more of each others company! Left over apple pie will be dessert (also I will have supplies on hand to make smore's at the corn maze)! Please bring $5 to help pay for pizza!
Around 5:30-6 p.m. the teens will join us and we'll head out to Thurmont to the Lawyers Moonlight Corn Maze (see link above for more info)! The cost for the maze is $5.It's a load of fun you won't want to miss!
-Please remember to bring your flashlights, wear closed toed shoes, and dress warm! If you have an extra flashlight you could spare for a teen to use please bring it!
This is a family event, so please feel free to bring you families, friends etc. Please RSVP to this event by October 20th if you're planning to attend!
