Hello All! Art Night has been publicized throughout the village, but I wanted to send out a special invitation to folks that I thought might particularly enjoy Art Night.
Art Night is a time to set aside for relaxation and creatvity, and it don't cost a thing!
Art Night is not about the result of the work, as much as it’s about the experience of being creative. Engaging in creative activities without focusing as much on the outcome can be energizing and relaxing all at the same time.
I hope you will be able to join us. Art Night is held at The Other Barn. (HOWEVER THIS ART NIGHT WILL BE HELD AT A PRIVATE HOME WHILE THE OTHER BARN IS BEING RENOVATED.)
Here's how it works -
You bring your art to Art Night. It could be knitting, beading, sewing, crochet, scrap booking, computer art, web page design, song writing, poem writing, decoupage, whittling… pretty much whatever makes you happy!
Other folks bring their stuff too, and we all get together in a fun creative environment to do our art.
Even if you don’t consider yourself an “ARTIST” come and being creative in the company of other neat people. I used to teach 3 and 4 year olds and every one of them sang and every one of them painted. So we’ve all got it in us to have the experience of being creative, especially when we can make it be about the process rather than the result.
