Event Description:

This will be a really FUN and BIG party, with FREE entertainment, food and drink! It will be an all-ages show, so you can bring the whole family, and it's all for a great cause: Doctors Without Borders (Medcins Sans Frontieres)!

A suggested minimum donation of $10 will be requested, but please give whatever you can. It's all tax deductible, and you will receive anacknowledgement letter from MSF, which will serve as a receipt for your donation. Cash and personal checks will be accepted, and there will be forms to allow you to make credit carddonations at the event as well. Four great local original music bands will play for your listening and dancing pleasure! They are: Erica Sunshine Lee, Big Lion, Vandella and Cuban Cigar Crisis. Check them out below where you’ll find links to their websites.

Patrick Nagle who has recently returnedfrom a series of missions with MSF will give several short presentationsthroughout the evening about the organization and his personal experience working in the field with them as an emergency nurse in several different countries. You’ll get a chance to talk with him in person during the course of the evening.

There will also be a raffle, with great prizes! Have a look at the list below for moreinformation. With several great prizes, every ticket you buy gives you gives several chances to win! Again, all the money will go directly to Doctors Without Borders.

We will have a great MC, Tom Nixon, who is a master magician and slight-of-hand expert. He’ll announce the bands and speakers, call the raffle, and you’ll have a chance to be amazed and entertained, close up, by his magic and humor. You can visit his web site at:

Every dollar collected will go straight to Doctors Without Borders, so while you're having a great time, you'll also know that you're really making a difference for so many people who desperately need help.

Great buffet-style foodwill be provided by Whole Foods and Patxi’s Chicago Pizza, and excellent beer will be served by Gordon Biersch. All FREE! There will also be a cash bar for wine and mixed drinks.

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Information:

Speaker: Patrick Nagle

Patrick will give brief, informative presentations about MSFand his work in the field at several points during the event.

Patrick Nagle has 20 years experience as a nurse in a variety of settings. He joined Doctors Without Borders in 2002 working in Bangladesh with refugees close to the Burmese border. He has since completed 7 missions including 3 missions in Darfur. Most recently he worked with MSF as an Emergency Coordinator, leading cholera response activities in Zimbabwe in and programs for the displaced and conflict affected Tamil population in Sri Lanka.

All money collected will go directly to the MSF fund. MSF will send letters with their tax ID number to all donors, and contributors which can serve as receipts for tax purposes, and you’ll know your contributions went directly to this amazing, non-political organization that provides help, and relief to so many people every year.

Pamphlets and information about the organization will also be available for you at the event.

We have set up a donation website that is linked with the MSF site. It promotes the event and allows contributors to donate online using credit cards. The URL is:
