Dream Charting
Dream Charting is a new method of dream amplification and interpretation discovered and under development by G. Dillon McKinsey Robinson. Recent brain research has demonstrated that the brain uses neural networks to process cognitive material, including dreams. Dream charting places dream symbols from the unconscious mind into a graphic representation similar to a neural network. In so doing, the dream symbols are properly associated and amplified, allowing for a more comprehensive and apropos dream interpretation.
Dream charting is also a very holistic method of dream work drawing he best ideas from a host of knowledge repositories such as Depth, Gestalt, Cognitive and Humanistic psychology, Neurology, Puzzle Theory, Alchemy, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Mapping, Metaphysics, and Self-Directed Learning. This synthesis yields an interpretive methodology that is both sensitive and robust, allowing the dream message to be deeply and accurately perceived and understood.
Paradoxically, while dream charting is very sophisticated and deep analytical tool, it is also a process open to most diligent dream workers who are willing to record and work with their dreams through the charting process. Charting is like and "ore cart" bringing to consciousness the immense treasure of the deep, but golden, unconscious, one orb at a time.
