Nearly 500 adventurers get this chance each year to experience a "Naughycal Adventure on the High Seas". Queen City Cruise features sun, music, dancing, scenery, and _men_. It tours Seattle's harbor and inland passages on an extravagantly decorated boat. Tickets are $50 and available only online at tickets.ttca.org/
The Cruise has sold out every year since 1981, so be sure to get your tickets early.
A 26-year Seattle tradition, the Queen City Cruise is a deliciously deviant contribution to Seafair, Seattle's water sports extravaganza.
There's something for everyone on board: soaking in the sights and sun on the front bow, shaking the booty to really great dance music, drinking cool libations served by fun-loving bartenders, and sampling fine edibles at the bountiful buffet.
And if all that isn't tempting enough, there will be contests and prizes – including the coveted traditional award for "Coming the Greatest Distance." Dress up or dress down your student body and compete in the costume contests for fabulous prizes.
The Cruise this year has been dubbed Project Gangplank. Rest assured there will be an abundance of fiercely fashionable pirates -- the Baudy Buccaneers -- both onboard and around time in the weeks leading up to the Cruise.
Queen City Cruise is produced by Tacky Tourist Clubs of America (ttca.org)as a benefit for Gay City Health Project, Gay World Series Organizing Committee and the Backpack Project (via Action Northwest).
