Jonathan Hershaff, a Bay Area Tribe member and Birthright Israel alumn, has been teaching Salsa and other Latin dances for a number of years. He frequents many of San Francisco's Salsa clubs and is available for private and group lessons. Everyone should remember how great last year's Salsa event was- it was all because of Jon. He is back for a repeat performance!
Otro Mundo, this tight ten piece band brings together musicians from many parts of the Americas to create an exciting musical experience. They are dedicated to playing the best of classic salsa, cumbia and merengue.
Michael Ellsberg, DJ and salsa instructor now based in San Francisco, founded Cuban Salsa Loft Parties in New York City, which were the hottest ongoing Cuban salsa event in New York City in 2006. In addition to DJing, hosting and teaching salsa at these events, Michael has taught beginner Cuban-style salsa and also salsaerobics.
