The BRRC Beginning Runners Program starts on Tuesday, April 7th, at 6:30PM at the Goucher College outdoor track.
This is a six week program that meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30PM. The program goal is to get new runners and walkers prepared to complete a 5K to 4 mile race at the end of May or beginning of June.
Guest speakers give presentations, questions are answered, and a group workout follows. The workout plan has been refined by BRRC coaches from a training schedule by Runners World editor Amby Burfoot. Groups are adjusted to accommodate progressing and advanced beginners, as well as novices.
This program is open to all ages. The only fee is membership in BRRC.
When entering Goucher College, please follow signs for the athletic facilities and park outside the gym. The track is nearby at Gopher Stadium. You can view a map of the campus at
