Dear VIA alumni/ae,


Mark your calendars! On Sunday, October 24, 2010 Volunteers in Asia is hosting a reunion at Stanford from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. We will be gathering at the Elliot Program Center, right on Lake Lagunita.

The event is open to all VIA alumni/ae, so if you know of other volunteers who you haven’t seen in years, invite them, and join us at Lake Lag to reconnect. There will be a short program. Dwight will be speaking around noon. You will also have the opportunity to meet Michael Bedford, VIA’s new executive director, as well as the staff and board members.

We are aware one of the things we could do better is provide a venue for VIA alumni to stay in touch. We are hoping the reunion on October 24th will be a time to reunite and share some of the unique experiences that VIA has afforded us all.

A light lunch will be served so come over as soon as you can. Please note this is not a fundraiser, so leave your wallet at home. We look forward to seeing you and hearing about your VIA experience.




Elliott Program Center is located right on Lake Lagunita; the actual address is 589 Governors Ave. Stanford, CA 94305. Parking is available in lots WE or C. There will be signs and greeters to direct you to the event.
