Sit and Draw Art Contest for Kids

As a part of our continued effort to provide opportunities for members to participate in a diverse range of events, IATLH is pleased to announce a 'Sit- and- Draw' contest for children.

Venue:
The event will be held at the Leon County Main Library Meeting Room located at 200 West Park Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32301

Date and Time:

Sunday, Sept 27, 2009 between 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

Event notes:
Children will be required to being their own coloring material (per their choice) and hard board. Paper will be provided by IATLH. The contestants will be divided into for the following age groups:

- Ages 5 to 8
- Ages 8 - 10
- Ages 11 - 13
- Ages 13+

Contestants will be provided with a topic(s) at the venue and then some time to complete and submit their entries. While parents need to bring their wards to the contest, once the topic has been assigned children will need to work independently. Entries will be judged and prizes will be awarded on site. As sitting space in the library is limited, members are encouraged to email their interest in participating by providing their ward's name and age to Mrs. Ratna Krishnan (ratna.krishnan@gmail.com) or any of the EC members.
