I thought this was one of the best TOPS meetings. The people were great and the speaker, Anat, was excellent. She was so good that we are working to get her here to speak to the residents and staff. The best part of the meeting was to see Bunni again.

I had fully intended to come to event, but because of a last minute client situation was unable to come. I do find the TOPS group invaluable. As a CPA who deals with elderly and disabled clients, I am able to act as a resource person for my elderly people. Also, since I need to see my clients regularly for tax issues, I am in a position to detect 'problem' situations. I am excited to say that with some of the knowledge I was able to glean, I was able to persuade an elder's family to get a complete physical for her and a thyroid deficiency was discovered. She was treated, and therefore not classified as 'senile.' She was able to have six more quality years to her life in her own home instead of being 'warehoused' as deeply senile. I am using this space so that people can see how important the information you disseminate is. Thank you!

Join us and other senior service professionals for a morning of mingling, networking and learning.

This month's speaker is Anat Louis, PhD from the Dept of Aging. She will speak on Fall Prevention and other worthwhile senior services

We encourage guests who are involved in serving older adults in the greater Los Angeles area.
