Join us for a day at Six Flags Magic Mountain!
Meet at 10:00am sharp in front of the park entrance (past the security checkpoint)
Weather:It's probably going to be cold and possibly rainy... so be prepared. If it looks like rain, I STRONGLY recommend wearing a WATERPROOF raincoat. Wear pants, and wear layers. (We can get a locker to store extra clothes if needed.) You might also want to bring a change of underwear and socks for afterward. I'd suggest leaving umbrellas and cameras at home this time.
Usually, coasters are operating unless there are high winds or lightning in the area.
The good news is that crappy weather usually means no lines! Heck, we'll probably be done by mid-afternoon.
Meet us later in the day:
If you arrive later than the meeting time, TXT or call me on my cell at 619-723-3514, and we'll try to meet-up with you.
Why Christmas Eve?
Believe it or not, it's one of the least crowded days at the park. You can enjoy some rides until mid-afternoon, then still join your loved-ones afterward!
What's new?
The new Terminator: Salvation wooden coaster is open!
Park hours:
The park will be open until 6pm that day.
Parking:
Parking is at least $15 per vehicle, so carpool if you can.
Friends:
Feel free to forward this invitation to your friends, using the link provided. You can bring whomever. (But please don't post this event on other websites or newsgroups. Let's keep this among friends and friends-of-friends.)
Ticket Options:
- $29.99 - Special Online price - available only when you purchase in advance on the park's website. You print the ticket at home so you won't have to stand in line to buy a ticket at the park.
- $54.99 - Play Pass for all of 2009 + 2010 - get admission for the rest of this year and all of next year. I think it's a great deal, plus it includes a value book with free friend passes and other coupons. There are no blackout dates, and you can use it at 15 other Six Flags parks in North America, too. The Play Pass is available on the park's website. (You can renew your existing Play Pass online, as well.)
- Additional options are available; refer to the website for more information. If you don't purchase your ticket online, the full price for a one-day ticket at the park is $54.99 when you buy at the gate.
More info:
