MONTAGE : A Panel On Editing
Many filmmakers tend to think that the creative process ends once production has wrapped and they rush through the editing process and ruin what could have been a great fim. The Editing Process is just as important as the writing and directing process. It is in the editing room that the story is revealed and "written" once again.
Join us on Sunday August 2nd, when we welcome a panel of professional editors including Julie Janata, Greg Hobson, Antony Berrios, Beth Dewey and Pi Ware as they discuss the importance of editing and give you insight into their process.
We will be addressing Creative issues, answering such questions as, "What are the key creative things to keep in mind when editing a project?", "How do you find/establish the proper rhythm for a project?", "What are some ways to develop my editing skills?" and more.
Plus key issues about the Process and Methodology of editing, such as "What is the best way to set up/organize an editing project?", "How are sound/music integrated in the process?", "How do you work with a director?" and more.
You don't want to miss this seminar......as an added BONUS we're throwing in a FREE subscription to MovieMaker magazine for all who attend..... so come on down and bring your friends!
Hope to see you all there.
Best,
FA
