As part of our Leadership series, YLS of El Paso is proud to provide this opportunity to meet Col. Stephen Twitty, Commander of the 4th Brigade, 1st Armored Division.

Among his many accomplishments, Col. Twitty is recognized as the only African American to be awarded the Silver Star for his service of duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the only African American officer to command company, battalion and brigade size combat arms units during the war in Iraq.
