Wyatt Kamp is the “little warrior” who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in August 2008. Since then, he has undergone extensive chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, antibody infusions, and other treatments most of us have never heard about. Wyatt is handling his days in and out of the hospital like a champ. To follow Wyatt’s story, visit www.caringbridge.org/visit/wyattkamp.
Wyatt's BBQ Benefit will be held at the outdoor pavilion at the Shoreview Community Center. Guests can enjoy a barbeque lunch, cold beverages (beer, soda, juice), plenty of outdoor games and a White Elephant Silent Auction. Kids also have access to the community center’s indoor playground and waterpark for an additional $5. See www.shoreviewcommunitycenter.com for more information on their facilities.
Friends and family of the Kamps have joined together to help raise money for their medical expenses. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Wyatt Kamp Benefit Fund.
Suggested entry donation: $10 per adult and $5 per child (6-14) | Cash and checks will be accepted for all donations including the silent auction.
This event will only be a success with your help!
Please consider donating to the White Elephant Silent Auction. Items may include your unused household items and gifts (must still look new). Unused toys, electronics and household gifts make great donations. We also love donations from local businesses such as gift baskets or gift cards from coffee shops, restaurants or retailers. To donate or request donation letters & forms, contact Shoma at shomahokanson@yahoo.com.
Wyatt's BBQ Benefit is a family event open to everyone so feel free to forward this invite. Please come and support a wonderful Twin Cities family!
