The Haen Gallery, located at 52 Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville, NC will present
“Natural Habitation”, an exhibition of new work by
Clayton Santiago and
Byron Gin. The exhibition will open on Saturday, September 19th at 5:30pm with an artists’ reception, and continue through October 23rd.
Clayton Santiago lives and works in Atlanta, GA and explores the natural and spiritual worlds in his mixed media pieces. Through a process of layering epoxies, gold leaf, paint and tar, he brings to life elements of his southern heritage with depth and complexity. Byron Gin is a Chicago based artist and his work is a marriage of realism and abstraction. He creates textural and layered abstract environments and inhabits them with exquisitely painted birds and various household objects.
The Haen Gallery is pleased to present the exciting new work of these artists for the Fall. The opening reception will be on Saturday, September 19th, 5:30-7:30pm, and both artists will be in attendance.
