Topic: Estate Planning Bill Melton is a tax partner with Abbott, Stringham & Lynch and specializes in income and estate tax planning. He is an expert in all matters concerning fiduciary income taxation, charitable remainder trusts, private foundations, trust and tax compliance and split-interest trusts. As an expert in designing orderly succession alternatives, Bill also develops strategies for administering assets effectively while minimizing tax consequences.
Bill understands the nuances of fiduciary income taxes and gift and estate taxation, thoroughly explaining each option and its ramifications so his clients can make the most appropriate decisions.
Bill graduated with honors from San Jose State University with a Masters in Accountancy and holds a Certificate in Estate Planning. He is a member of the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council, the National Alliance of Trust and Estate Professionals and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Reservations are requested by noon on Friday, August 21, 2009 by Socializr or on the chapter voice mail at 408-235-0828. Please remember that Vegetarian meals must be reserved and will not be offered to walk-in attendees or any reservations made after noon Friday, August 21, 2009. While walk-ins are expected, the Chicken Marsala may not be available to all walk-ins as the catering staff may not have enough of the menu selection on hand to accommodate a large number of walk-ins. In cases where the menu selection is not available, substitutions will be made by the catering staff.
