I did not want that same mundane pattern for each of my family members. So for the first couple of days we ate off involving Dixie plates (paper plates) and that gave me time to look and search at my own local unique antique stores, thrift stores, second hand stores, yard sales, garage sales and estate sales inside my area. So that is exactly what I did. I was very surprised to find at my local antique store that collection of unique classic and mint condition clothing, bowls, glassware, mug and tea ware and ramekins were priced anywhere from $. 50 to $2. 00 bucks apiece. To me this was perfect for our needs together with being able to find some very unique patterns that suited each of our personalities the best. I made my primary purchase at Target believe it or not for my Seasoned Settle 15-1/4"diameter by 2-1/4" detail Double Handled Skillet and let me tell you, I use it literally for everything from frying eggs to making homemade spaghetti sauce! What I love the most is whatever you cook in it would make each meal taste much more delicious! I have heard that most of the greatest chefs and cooks on the globe swear by cast iron and My organization is right there with them! Best of all the cleaning love them is fast and easy and they literally can last you a lifetime. To me they could be the best investment your money can buy. These are the pieces An excellent opportunity purchasing first to enable you to get started (you are able to always add more unique pieces as your financial allowance allows). They are as follows:

  • 12" cast iron Skillet (using lid)

  • 15 to 18" cast iron Skillet (with lid)

  • 4 and 8 : quart Saucepans with covers (I would recommend stainless steel/cast iron)

  • 6" or 8" cast iron skillet (ideal for making gourmet omelets, even small deserts)

  • And naturally, a Cast Iron Dutch Oven, Roasting Pan and/or Commodity Pot (with cover)

You will find that you will be very happy with these first investments plus it will even enhance your cooking so in return for you will enjoy being inside kitchen more!

BAKEWARE
I pick my fresh vegetables from the garden, are available in and dice and slice them and into the storage bags they check out either use for evening meal that evening and/or frost nova for future use. Snack size bags can be your best friend if you've got children that love to snack plus it keeps them on percentage control!

  • Dish towels: To me a dish towel makes a kitchen ones own unique place. With so many available you are bound to be able to show off some flair or theme in your kitchen as well as dry things more quickly.

  • Measure cups: These really are a must start in any sort of kitchen. I would start with glass Pyrex glass measuring cups! You can make use of these also for dry up measure too! Not only great for measuring they are great for sauces, dressings, dips, computing flour, sugar and even more! These are a necessity! A must!

  • Measure spoons: Another treasure in your kitchen. green bowls uk shops
