First time we've actually hung out outside by the cars for extended amount of time. We had fortunate weather this year. In previous years we've been a staying inside enjoying the coffee and donuts more than the cars. More of a social than tire kicking. Was nice to see all the different cars. The back seats in Doug's car got as much attention as Mike's Vision Function SuperCharger setup! The various drives afterward were lots of fun. A group of us found some abandoned back roads and fields with really twisty curves to negotiate. Good times!

Not much sun but an enjoyable outing cut short by the Super Bowl. Btw, my car ran great, no hesitation, no flat spots, just plenty of turbo power.

I thought the event was enjoyed by everybody who came out. Lotus cars, coffee and donuts... what an interesting combination! There were a bunch of cars; lots of Elise/Exiges of various types, a couple of old Elans, one Esprit, one mid-70s Elite, a 1966 Seven and a Mazda Miata. Most everybody drove out to Carnation, a few people had lunch there and then a small group drove out to the airport in Snohomish by way of some twisty roads... a fun day!

The Evergreen Lotus Car Club invites you to the first meeting & driving event of the new year.

One of ELCC's newer members (Michael Feuell) has invited us all out to his Third Annual "Lotus & Donuts" event at the Krispy Kreme outlet in Issaquah (located at 6210 East Lake Sammamish Parkway S.E.) beginning at 10:00AM on Sunday, February 7th. This is meant to be a casual get together and "tire kicking" activity.

After enjoying the Lotus, like-minded conversation and the donuts and coffee for an hour or so, there'll be an option to take a short drive out through Preston and Fall City to Carnation where (with the help of another ELCC member, Don Christopher) we have been invited to take a tour of the very interesting Giordano's Vintage Cars sales facility (located at 4501 Tolt Avenue) which is only open on Sunday's by appointment. We've told the owner that we'd be there at about 12:00 noon.

After touring Giordano's for a while, you'll have the option of having lunch in one of the casual and friendly restaurants in Carnation and then after lunch, Don has laid out a fun back-roads "country" drive to Snohomish for those of you who might be interested in extending your automotive fun that day.

These activities will occur "rain or shine" and of course, it'd be great if everybody drove (or rode in) a Lotus to these various places, but it is not a "hard and fast" requirement.
