Independence Day 2009

India Association of Tallahassee will be celebrating the Indian Independence day with the regular protocol of flag unfurling and rendering of the Indian and American National Anthems on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Moore Auditorium, Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL 32306. India Association of Tallahassee, Indian Students Association of Tallahassee, and FSU International Center are coming together to bring this program.

Utsav 2009

Following the Independence day celebration we are also organizing a variety entertainment program (Utsav). Over the years Utsav has become very popular. Members are encouraged to participate with their families. If you or your family member intends to showcase their talents in singing, dancing, or acting, please contact one of the Executive Committee members. Please ensure that the item you chose to perform portrays Indian culture and/or heritage and suits the occasion of India's Independence Day.
