The Annual General Body Meeting of the India Association of Tallahassee will be held at the Leroy Collins Main Library (Meeting Room A) on Sunday, January 25th at 3 pm. All members are requested to be present. The agenda includes the following:
1. Opening remarks by the President.
2. Activities Report for 2008 to be presented by the Secretary.
3. Presentation of Balance Sheet for 2008 by the Treasurer.
4. Amendments to the bylaws made necessary due to the submission of application to the IRS for nonprofit status. The amended bylaws are available at the following link: www.iatlh.org/about/bylaws+amendments.pdf
5. Outline of proposed activities in 2009 by the Vice President
6. Any other business brought forward by members.
The meeting will be followed by observance of India's Republic Day coordinated by the Joint Secretary (presentation, patriotic songs, skit, etc) and the occasion will end with distribution of light refreshments. Please note that library authorities do not allow consumption of food inside the meeting room.
