It is once again that time of year........ Ugly Holiday SweaterFest 2009
Enjoy, for the fifth time now, this silly, tacky, holiday tradition that includes purchasing, borrowing, finding, or stealing, jingly, puffy, or three dimensional holiday attire that smells like mothballs and grandmothers. It's the most fun you can have with knit-wear on for sure!
The evening will begin (as always) at Adams Mill Bar in Adams Morgan at 6 PM. We will wander to several bars (still to be finalized), catch up, share holiday cheer, partake in beverages and make fools of ourselves.
Again this year, in the interest of reducing the event's carbon footprint, us organizers recommend the reuse and recycling of last year's sweaters or the swapping of sweaters among other attendees. While the true environmental impact of these potentially harmful and offensive clothing articles is still controversial, let’s do our part to keep it to a minimum!
