After doing some investigation we have decided on the location of Puerto Vallarta for our wedding ceremony. We have found our dream location within this city and believe it is one of the more affordable places to hold a destination wedding so we’re hoping it will be easier for a lot of people to come. The dates will be June 2nd through June 6th, 2010.

An exclusive private paradise in the jungle. A beachfront villa about 15 minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta on the south side, located on the water with 6 levels overlooking the ocean. It is on 75,000 square feet, and is comprised of 26 bedrooms with full private baths, gardens and paths, an infinity pool, a hot tub for 16 people, 2 palapa bars, one is a large bar next to the pool, a bon fire pit on the beach, as well as a full staff that will prepare 3 meals a day, serve us drinks (24 hour open bar), and clean up after us. Rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, wireless internet and private outdoor terraces. There is also an oceanview gym, a squash/basketball court and a Spa services available. A minimum of a 4 night stay is required, and we would have to pay 50% up front in order to reserve the dates. We would need a 50% deposit from everyone that would like to join us at this location by October 1st, 2009. The price for the entire 4 night stay, all inclusive (meals, drinks, service and tip already included), is $490 per person. The deposit due on October 1st would be $245 per person. The second half would not be due until around April 2010.

Otherwise, if you are unable to commit to staying at the Villa Mia, please let us know if you might stay somewhere else in Puerto Vallarta and just join us for the wedding ceremony so I can get a tentative head count on how many to plan for the ceremony day and keep you involved with any discussion. Please feel welcome to find your own accomodations in Puerto Vallarta if you can not commit to Villa Mia. We just need to get the rooms for Villa Mia blocked out.
We also want to add that if you cannot attend the ceremony and festivities in Mexico, we will be having a BBQ reception in Seattle later in the summer, so you can still join in the fun and celebration that way.
Please let us know if you are at all interested. If you know now that there is no way that you could, or would come to Mexico with us next year, let us know that as well. If we do not get any response from you we will assume that you are not interested in being included in the ongoing discussion and planning, and we will be in touch with you later to invite you to the local shindig. We really would appreciate it if you would let us know if you will not be able to attend ... We understand and would not take any offense. We’ll get to still celebrate with you later in the summer!
