Sit and Draw Art Contest

In our effort to provide opportunities for members and expand our membership, IATLH invites both children and adult members of India Association of Tallahassee to participate in a 'Sit- and- Draw' contest.
Venue:
The event will be held at the Leon County Main Library Meeting Room located at 200 West Park Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32301. Please note that Republic Day Observance and AGM will follow Art Contest at this location.
Date and Time:
Saturday, January 28, 2012 between 1:00 and 2:00 pm. (Please note that Republic Day and AGM will follow Art Contest in the same location).

Everyone will be required to being their own coloring material (per their choice) and a clipboard. Paper will be provided by IATLH. The contestants will be divided into following age groups:
- Ages 5 to 7
- Ages 8 - 10
- Ages 11 - 14
- Ages 14+ (Open category including adults)
Eligibility and extra information:
Please note that only those who are current members of IATLH will be allowed to participate (meaning those who have paid 2011 or 2012 dues). We encourage everyone to become member for 2012. See below for more details about how to become a member for 2012.
2012 IATLH Membership :
www.formstack.com/forms/?1013771-FEn6xhGtRsContestants will be provided with topics at the venue and will be requried to finish the drawing in about 45 minutes and submit their entries. The parents can assist kids in picking a topic, but once the topic has been selected the parents are required to leave the area where children are drawing. Entries will be evaluated by 2 or 3 independent judges and prizes will be awarded on site following Republic Day Observance and Annual Generalbody Meeting.
