Presented by Christine Hardy, MA, C.N.E

Have you ever wondered what foods are right for your individual metabolism? Lost about what vitamins are healthy for you specifically? Need to know what nutrients you could be deficient in? Are you absorbing and utilizing your nutrients at 100%?

How can you discover all of these answers and more? With Metabolic Typing! What is it? Come learn more!

The book: "The Nutrition Solution: A Guide to Your Metabolic Type" by Dr. Harold Kristal (whom Christine worked with) will be available for sale at the meeting. The cost of each book is $19.95 and cash or check will be accepted.

Background

Christine Hardy is a Certified Nutrition Educator, has a Master's degree in Holistic Nutrition and is a member of the Holistic Pediatrics Association as well as the Nationwide Holistic Mom's Network.

Christine grew up as a competitive gymnast for 15yrs which taught her about dieting and different theories of what it meant to be healthy, to be strong, independent and self-aware. The journey was a complete education on how important optimal health truly is.

With her passion in health; Christine began her Nutrition education in 1999. She spent professional time as a Clinical Counselor for young teenagers regarding behavioral and drug dependency issues at Seneca Center and also worked at Whole Foods as a vitamin and nutrition consultant.

Christine then went on to work as a Nutrition Practitioner at Elephant Pharmacy for the six years they were open. During her tenure there she counseled customers on health alternatives, taught classes and learned different alternative healing modalities working alongside of; Pharmacists, Homeopathic, Chinese, and Ayurveda practitioners.

Christine also went to work as a Nutrition Assistant for Dr. Harold Kristal in San Rafael, CA . This is where she learned Metabolic Typing and Live Cell Blood Analysis. Christine was also trained in thyroid, hormone, food sensitivity, and neurotransmitter testing.

During this time period she developed specialties assisting; children, cancer, diabetes and osteoporosis clients. She has lectured about nutritional and other alternate modalities to numerous organizations across the bay area for a number of years.

Dr. Kristal passed away in 2004 and Christine was charged to take on a large caseload of clients and successfully continued the practice. In 2006, wanting to be close to family, Christine trained employees to continue the San Rafael clinic and moved to Danville where she now has a thriving Metabolic Typing Practice. In addition to her practice, Christine does free Nutritional Consultations at Whole Foods Market in San Ramon.

Christine's purpose and passion is to support and guide people to become aware of their body; mentally, emotionally, physically and psychologically. Within this awareness, discover that they have the power and ability to achieve optimal health no matter what state of health they are presently in.
