In its efforts to continue providing the Indian community of Tallahassee with additional events and activities, we will be hosting an Art Competition for children between the ages of 2 - 19.
PLEASE NOTE that this competition is limited to children of India Association of Tallahassee members. If you are currently not a member or need to renew your membership for 2008, please download a membership form from www.iatlh.org , fill it out and submit it along with the annual membership fee of $30 at the same time as the art work.
Please encourage your children to participate in this contest with their most creative efforts.
Submitting Entries:
Please submit your child's entry in a A4 (8.5x11 inches) size paper. Entries in each age group must address the the assigned themes. The themes are as follows:
Age groups
Group 1: Age 13 - 19, Theme: My Country (India/USA)
Group 2: Age 9 - 12, Theme: My Pets
Group 3: Age 5 - 8, Theme: My Family
Group 4: Age 2 - 4, Theme: Any of the above or Nature
Please include participant details (name, age, address and parents names) on a separate sheet of paper and attach it to the submitted entry. This will enable our judges to review each entry impartially.
Participants may use any type of coloring pencils, crayons, water-colors, etc
Participants may submit only one (single) entry
All entries NEED to be submitted to one of the coordinators OR mailed on or before August 1, 2008. If you have any questions please contact the coordinators(s) of the competition by sending an email to art.iatlh@gmail.com

Results
A panel of judges will review each entry that is submitted and announce the results during 'UTSAV'. Details of the venue and time will be communicated shortly in a separate Socializr event announcement.
Prizes
· Fi rst, second and third place prizes will be awarded within each age group during ‘UTSAV’. All other participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
