Innovative and ground-breaking, even as it was in a multi-media tradition that links back to the work of Josef Svoboda. Perhaps most importantly, the work represents an all-too-rare cooperative enterprise between Denver area higher educational and cultural institutions (in this case, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and the University of Colorado at Denver). On top of that, the piece brought together the works of Shaw, Brecht, Anouilh, Schiller & Luc Besson. WE NEED MORE OF THIS! Excellent piece, focused, sharp, direct, strong. Animated projection is not easy to weave with live performance, and I believe the artists showed great forethought and restraint in sharing the audience's attention with the actors. The reverse is true: I actually found myself looking up a few times, and I appreciate that the restrained staging made room for my need to let my eyes wander. This is a delicate balancing act, and you pulled it off very impressively. The acting was superb and dynamic. Joan's powerful, insane devotion was so well delivered that it makes you ache to share in her delusion, makes you long for the madness of innocence. The dome was barely big enough to contain her. Please please please do invite me again if you ever do something like this again!

Loved the visuals and direction. The use of shadow and light to set the tone was superb. Please have more of these types of shows in the future.

I'd love to see this but doesn't look like the timing will work to come in from Seattle. Break a leg to all the performers and congrats to the development team. if this gets taped would love to see the work (though I know it's not the same as being there). Best to all from your big fan far away. --bill
