Carlos Bernal Mizrachi is an Assistant professor in the Division of Endocrine and Metabolism at Washington University. His work on atherosclerosis and glucose metabolism has been recognized and published in prestigious journals such as Nature, Cell Metabolism, Journal of Clinical Investigation and Circulation among others. Lately his research has been focus in understanding the role of vitamin D deficiency in the development of cardio-metabolic complications in patients with diabetes.
