I sent an invitation but the response tracker is not updating. I've received emails from guests asking for more details but the response tracker doesn't indicate the invitation has even been viewed. Is there a way to refresh the tracker and/or confirm the invite was delivered? Mon 4/20/09

Hi Rae, as the response tracker page says at the bottom, if your guest has images disabled in their webmail or email client, Socializr actually doesn't know that they have opened the email. Is it possible that this is the case here? Mon 4/20/09

I don't think so. Maybe for the people that I sent the message to a work email account but not the yahoo, hotmail and gmail people. A few of the people send me pictures (not as attachements) all the time so I can't imagine they're sending me something thay can't even see themselves. If it doesn't show if/when they viewed the invitation will it at least tell me something once they rsvp? Mon 4/20/09

Rae, sending you pictures has nothing to do with whether they are seeing images in emails from Socializr. For example, if you receive an HTML email contaning images using GMail, you will see a yellow box above the message that says 'Images are not displayed. [Display images below] - [Always display images from name@email.com]'

Until they click one of those links, they will not see the image in the email. Until our tracking image is actually displayed, Socializr doesn't know for sure whether an invitation has been opened. That's why there is the explanation at the bottom of the event statistics page about that. The opened # is often useful to see which invitations Socializr knows have been opened, but it is not 100% due to the image display issue, and should be viewed in conjunction with the other stats such as the # of views to the event page. In the case of your event, only one person seems to have viewed the event without triggering a view of the tracking image in the invitation email, so it's not too far off...
