I've had this issue for months. When making a change in the editing box, it often does not appear. Yes, I use the 'Save Changes' button.
Typically, I'd want to enlarge the font on only one line--highlight it, enlarge it (which appears in the editor) and then click on Save. No result. Or sometimes the line spacing becomes messed up. Or sometimes the centering function fails. I've tried to detect a pattern by making my change, then clicking on some other line, or clicking outside the box before hitting save. Please advise. www.socializr.com/event/362862587 thank you cj |

Hi CJ, the HTML editor is from a 3rd party library, commonly used on various websites and may have some quirks or bugs but overall it does generally work and allow people to make changes like that and save them. If you can provide a reproducable set of steps that show a problem, I'd be happy to take a look. If you re-try your change, does it take? |

By the way it looks from your event like you did successfully format your description text with italics, large size, etc. |

I'll chime-in. The editor is, indeed, a little quirky:
- Often I see what appear to be trailing spaces at the end of a line. When I backspace over it, it deletes an actual character. - When adding a hyperlink, there seems to be a character limit. It's not always clear if the link is actually captured, and there's no way to check until you save and view the event itself. - In the editor, a hard-return appears to have the same effect as a carriage-return. But when you view the invite itself, there's an extra space in between paragraphs that use a hard-return. - The editor has no way to select (or even display) the font face. I know you can choose it under 'Extras,' but this seems like a counter-intuitive place to have to go. Since I'm aware of all these quirks, I can compensate for them... but they're frustrating for me, and could be quite confusing for your other users. Just sayin'! |
