One of my invitees sent me the following message:
The site wanted me to be a friend in order to view it and then it said the following:] Sorry, you don't seem to be invited to this private event. |

Hi Barbie, I'm going to need more info. How did you invite this person? |

After I created my invitation, I clicked on the 'Invite People' tab, typed in their names, and submitted their names. Two of my invitees called me and said they received the e-mail for this, but the message asked them to 'be my friend' in order to view the message. Then when they accepted my friendship, they were told that they didn't seem to be invited to this private event.
I'm kind of embarrassed because I didn't realize that people had to 'be my friend' in order to be able to view the invitation. This was my first ever attempt at using 'e-vites', and I feel as though it made me look unprofessional. |

Hi Barbie, your guests do NOT have to be your friend in order to view the invitation, and I don't understand why they are saying that. There is a way to invite people to be your friend on Socializr, but that is from the Invite Friends or Find Friends pages. If you invite people to an event from the Invite People link on the invite page, they are not asked to be your friend in order to view the invitation. |
