I cannot keep up with ths spam posts on my invite. I have to literally check it every few hours. Its screwing with my party count and I don't want people to glance at it and think there are 200 people attending. Is there anyway to slow down the spam? Is there a captcha option or if I close comments will that help. I am about to email everyone attending to tell them the website has changed and delete it because I can;t continue to do this for another month.
HELP! I am still cleaning spam comments and RSVPs out of my invitation on a daily basis, I get about 15-20. I would say there is probably a very easy fix for this. These spammers are RSVP'ing with nonsense emails. If you simply required a verifiable email address and/or CAPTCHA the spammers would slow a lot. This is insane and I wish I hadn't used this site at all to create my invitation. And I certainly won't be using it again. |

Hi Sarah, sorry for the spam problems you were having. Unfortunately some people from outside the US were spamming public events with these comments. We put some new tools in place to catch, block, and prevent this more quickly in the future. |

Were having? these are just from the last 6 hours. A simple way to solve this problem would be to require real email adresses in order to post comments. None of these are real email addresses.

yes, I check it every hour or so to be safe.
Is there a way you can see all the people I have 'removed' from the invite or do I need to leave them up in order for you to see them? |

LOL! Yes, becasue I JUST deleted them about 15 minutes ago.
We had a venue change and I needed to send the link out again. I didnt want people to think we have 200 RSVP's when we only have about 60. Sorry. I will try to leave them up longer. |
