| I sucessfully imported my entire contact list from evite, but I also have an evite Group that it is subset of entire list for an annual event. How do I either create or import that list of addresses? |

Are you talking about a guest list from a previous Evite invitation? |

| No. Evite allowed you to create a subset of your entire address book and give it a Group name. In appears that your program allows for that also, but I will need to go through and check each name to have it match the evite group. Just wondering if there's a way to import the Group info? |

Hi Lauren, thanks for explaining. Our Evite importer does not support Evite's groups yet, no one has actaully asked for that so far. One idea would be to just click on the group in Evite and then simply cut & paste it into an invite box on Socializr. We will parse the emails and ignore the rest, so that might be a quick hack. |

| Here's how I handled it so you can pass it on to other evite converts. I created a new group - Socializr allows for this. Then I again imported all of my evite contacts into the new list and deleted the ones I didn't want to include in the new group. Rather manual but manageable (I only have 81 contacts and 36 in my subgroup). It would clearly be cumbersome to convert your groups if they were very large. You might want to consider adding that to the 'requested enhancements' list. Thanks for your input. I'm going to try your site for an annual Dec event and encourage others to try it. |
