Perhaps an easy way to ping the people who haven't opened the email or viewed the invite?
I fear that the invites are being spamtrapped, so I'd like to try a second time before sending email from my regular account... And if I have to send email with my regular account, an easy way to export those addresses without haveing to export the whole list, dump it into excel, sort by fields and then copy and paste into the TO line of my email client would be pretty great. :-) |

Hi Jeff,
You can always resend an invite to a guest. Just follow the same steps that you took to invite them in the first place (click 'invite people' in the right-hand host menu on the event page). You will be warned that the guest has already been invited and prompted to invite them again. If you check the box to resend the invite, another email invitation will be sent to that person. Also, remember that you can send a message directly to your guests and you can choose which category of guests to send to (the 'yes', 'no', etc... respondents) by clicking on 'send message to guests' in the right-hand host menu on the event page. Hope that helps, Boris |

I have to agree with Jeff on this one.
The workaround that Boris recommends is painful and doesn't actually solve the problem. I think what Jeff is looking for, is a way to re-send the invitation to people who appear to have never seen it. If you look at the Response tracker, these would be the people who have not dates listed for viewing the e-mail or the event at all. I've had this same concern. I have several friends who never seem to view the e-mail or the event... for whatever reason. Perhaps the message got marked as spam, or perhaps they accidentally deleted the e-mail, or perhaps it's so low in their Inbox that they just missed it. |

Jeff,
To clarify, you can easily send a message to the whole group of people who have not yet responded to your event. Just do the following: 1) log in, go the event page 2) click on 'send message to guests' in the right-hand host menu 3) check the 'no response yet' checkbox and send your message to that category of guests. The message they will receive will have links to view the event. cheers, Boris |

But that's not really what we're looking for.
Imagine I invite 100 people to a party. 90% viewed the e-mail. 50% responded. I want to target the 10% who NEVER viewed the e-mail, without bothering the other people who've seen it. See the dilemma? I don't want to get 'spammy,' as your company so perfectly describes the situation! |

Yes, I understand the dilemma. There is a delicate balance between encouraging your guests to engage with the RSVP process and not come off as being 'spammy.' The problem is further complicated by the fact that the 'opened' value cannot be 100% accurate.
The only way we can capture whether someone has opened their email is if they allow remote images to load. Hence, there might be people who have opened their email, but since they did not allow remote images to load, the host is not aware that they have opened it. So, if we allow you to send emails directly to people who, as far as we know, have not opened their email, a few of those people may get your email twice and may get upset. At the end of the day, it's seems fairly safe to email all of the invitees who have not yet responded with an RSVP asking them to finalize their RSVP with a Yes, No or a Maybe. This will get the attention of those people who may not have seen the invite in the first place and those who have simply not taken the time to respond. |

| Not optimal, but I guess we're stuck with it. |
