| Hey guys, I have sent my invitation to 800+ people, I am guessing many people will not respond, is that bad for my socializr reputation?, I hope not! I am still trying to find a service that serves to post announcements to individual emails. Anyways, after speaking with a few invitees it appears several people don't realize the invite is opened after clicking on the link and think the email is the invite. I read past comments about this and I understand 'View guest list and RSVP' is the link but I chose to hide the guest list so that doesn't entirely make sense. Why not say, 'click here to view invitation?' Wouldn't that clear up all confusion? |

Your sending reputation is currently only harmed by 3 factors:
1) guests blocking you 2) guests marking your invitation messages as spam 3) sending large numbers of invites to invalid email addresses (bounces) We may at some point take into consideration response/yes rates, but it's not that way currently. Generally, events with very low response/yes rates also have very high blocks and spam complaints. If you are merely trying to send out a newsletter style announcement blast, I would suggest a service like Constant Contact or Vertical Response. You could also take a hybrid approach where you use a bulk email service (like Constant Contact) to do the sending, and Socializr to collect the RSVPs. This has proved very popular for hosts that need to send many more invitations than our service allows. Hope that helps. Cheers, Larry |

We are currently in the process of redesigning the invitation email. Your feedback will definitely be included in the process. |
