I used this site for the first time (I've been using Evite for years) and I have the following comments:
1. Although I put first and last names along with the email addresses, the system randomly picked names or email addresses, or partial email addresses to identify my guests. This makes it difficult to manage the list. 2. My guests could not respond telling me how many people to expect so I had to go back and ask them. Really a pain. Socializr should calculate this for you based on their responses. 3. When I go in to 'Manage Guest List' it doesn't tell me who has responded or how, information that would help me to go down the list and answer on behalf of people I have spoken to. 4. Because people's comments are separate from their responses, it makes it harder to track what people have said. I now need to look in two areas to get info on who's coming. That's all I have for now. I don't think I'll use this again, unless you can fix these issues. |

Hi Leora,
Thanks for your feedback. Lemme address your issues one by one: 1) It looks like in every case where you provided a first and last name with an email address, we display the names. In the cases where you did not provide names with email addresses, the beginning of the email address is shown. For example 'bill.smith@gmail.com' becomes 'bill.smith' when you don't provide the person's full name. 2) The reason your guests could not tell you how many people they were bringing is that you set 'Can guests bring additional people?' to 'No' in the event options. Had this been left at its default state of 'Yes', there would've been a form element that allows the guests to select +1, +2, +3, etc. 3) This is an excellent suggestion and I will add it to our todo list. 4) Every comment shows the guest's response right next to their name. Can you clarify this one for me? I'm not sure what you mean. Cheers, Larry |
