Having great fun designing invitations and discovering new features to use. I have two kids b-day parties coming up and I found a good way to manage the guest?s email. I successfully imported my Outlook address book then since not many 6 year olds have their own email (or am I naïve), selected the addresses of the parents with kids most likely to be invited to my daughter?s party. I copied these names to a new list then changed each parent?s first name in the new list to the child?s name so the correct first name would appear in the response. Now if this site is still here next year (I hope), I have this year?s list to give me a head start. Best of all NO MORE PRINTING AND MAILING!!!! Thank you, Socializr. |

Or at least I thought that was a clever idea but when I sent out the invitation the first names shown in the guest response boxes reverted back to what I had in the original list, even the ones that I had edited in the main list reverted back to what I had originally imported. Does that mean you can only edit what is displayed to you and not the stored database? |
