It would be useful to have an RSVP close date such that the event informatlion is still available, but no RSVP are accepted after the close out date stated in the invite. This would be useful when using caterers and you hae a cut off date for the caterer, but do not want to take the invite offline. Thanks, mike |

You can close the guest list but leave the event details accessible by going to 'Manage Guest List' and then 'Close Guest List'. |

I agree with Mike. It would be nice if this was managed by a date rather than by manually going in on a particular date to close the list. This happens quite frequently when planning happy hours or ANYTHING involving food! |

Another vote for more control over RSVP cut off date, especially to make that cut off date visible on the RSVP page for the benefit of the 'maybe' people.
Am designing my 1st invitation, and kept thinking 'Where do I enter the 'RSVP-by' date...' and finally realized it doesn't exist. So, I'll embed it in the text of my invite, and have set the reminder notice to go out on the date of the RSVP cutoff date. That'll suffice, but it'd be nice to make the cutoff more visible. |
