'Ask Guests to Bring Something' PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add this feature! I persuaded everyone in my company to switch to socializr from evite, UNTIL we all realized socializr is missing this.
I saw a previous thread started March 2008, with a reply that it was 'in the works'. Can you add it by the end of this week? Pretty please? |

Hi Sarah, it's on our todo list, but sorry it will not be available by the end of this week. |

Thanks for letting me know. I was going on the theory of 'if you don't ask for it, you probably won't get it'. I look forward to the upgrade, though. I'm sure a million potlucks will flourish with the addition of this feature. |

I am investigating socializr for use in our silent auction. I'm not inviting people TO the event, I'm inviting people to participate in the event by contributing to an auction basket/bundle. This is a targeted mailing list of parents at a Chicago area school. Would love it if I could:
1. Have the 'Ask Guests to Bring Something' feature (I would include a list of suggested items needed to complete a themed auction basket) 2. Allow this invitation to go out without an event date, time, location. This will definitely confuse people since it's not an event per se. Any ideas for me ont his???? Thanks a lot for listening. |

If it's not an event, and doesn't have a time or location, perhaps an email management tool like Constant Contact or Vertical Response would be more suitable than an event service like Socializr? |

Thanks, that's a good idea. I still have some other questions and may try to phone you today. Thanks. Carol |

| I am another person that needs the 'ask guests to bring something' functionality. It looks like it has been on your To Do list since March of this year. It is a major functionality that your competition has that does not make socializr as appealing to use. |

Is this still 'on the todo list'?
Does somebody know of a widget that serves the same function? It would be extremely helpful, and should have been included by now since that 'other' event site has it. Unlike the 'other' event site, I'd like Guests to be able to select more than one item. |
