Please include space for host to request guests to bring certain items and then also for the host to see what the guests are bringing. If a guest agrees to bring an item, that item should disappear from the list so no other guests bring the same item. |

Yes I agree.. we are an organization that uses Evite all the time!! We are looking for something different. It is a must for us to have some way to invite guests to bring something.. food or any other item or event volunteer for an event/activity. |

I was completely thrilled when I found this site as it can handle my actually changing fonts, inserting paragraphs etc. not to mention the music, video etc.. unfortunately I organoze monthly potluck dinners and the feature of asking your guest to bring something and seing what they are bringing is important. Also the list of things needed that removes the item once someone agrees to bring it.
You have many things up on evite as far as curb appeal but when it comes down to bones of organizing a party they still win. Wish you two could merge!! |

Yes yes! I organize many family events that we do potluck. One (of the many) limitations from evite is that guests can only select one item to bring. The functionality to choose multiple items should be included. |

Hmmm. I guess this has been planned for quite a while now. To me this seems like one of the fundamental features of an event planning system. Kinda wish I would have checked on this before I switched over from the other one. |

Wow, I was planning my first event here, but without this feature I am dead in the water. This is a fundamental feature in planning many events. Unfortunately, I have to use the other guys until this feature arrives. I really wish I would have known before I put the effort into it. |

What is the status with adding this feature? Like other uses, I can't believe I didn't check this first. I'm really trying to convert to your product - and convert the other evite users I know - but you need to have this feature! |

Looks like this was added to the to do list a year and a half ago but hasn;t been done yet...
Too bad, someone asked me what they should use for their organization's potluck, and I'm going to have to send them to evite. |

I just got onto the Socializr website because I got frustrated with Evite. They seem to have removed the list option to ask guests to bring an item. Now I see neither one of these sites has what I want. I want a list where you can request guests to bring specific items. I too now see that it was added to the to-do list in 2008 and am not the only one that wants this. C'mon guys what's taking so long? I am going to have to go back to plain ol' email. |
