I canceled an event and I lost the entire page that was associated with it... the event description, guest list, graphics, everything. This made it difficult to reschedule the event at a later date because I had to create everything from scratch.
Also, folks who clicked on the event email got an 'event does not exist' message instead of 'event canceled.' There ought to be a way to retain canceled events with a cancellation message so that the event can be copied and/or rescheduled using all of the same elements. If this already exists, please make it more obvious somehow! Jason |

Hi Jason, you want to cancel an event, but not delete it? It should still be visible and accessible even though it is cancelled? |

Yes. I suppose the simple thing is for me to rename the event to 'CANCELED' and close the guest list. But if socializr did this automatically, it would be better.
As I said before, when an event is actually deleted, guests who try to open the invite get an error message instead of a cancellation notice. And the invite format can no longer be reused. Jason |

I'm having the exact same problem. I need to access the cancelled event, but it doesn't exist anywhere. Is there anyway to access it? I really need to get to the guest list so I can notify people that the event was cancelled. Here is the original URL
www.socializr.com/event/910768869?privateEventCode=1915990309 Is there anyway you can help me get to this event so I can access the guest list to know who to e-mail. On a related note an automatic notification to the people who RSVPed REALLY needs to be added to the cancellation feature. How else are people supposed to know an event is cancelled? |
