I love the site, but a little concerned that when my friends RSVP, they are publishing their first and last names for everyone to see.
I'd prefer that the default listing show first name and last initial. (I know you can change the setting if you have a Socializr account, but most of my friends probably won't have accounts, and I'd prefer to protect them by default.) |

Hi Mike, thanks for the feedback. Your friends can always enter only their last initial if they prefer. You can also hide the guestlist, or make your event private. Are these options enough? By 'everyone' do you mean the other guests? |

I know what you're saying, but it's not clear to the guest that their name will be on display for everyone to see.
Sometimes I want to make an event public, but still display the names of the people who are going, while still preserving a tiny bit of privacy. I'd say either of these would work: - Allow me, as the event creator, to specify that my invitations should only display last initial by default. - Clearly state on the RSVP page that when a guest provides their last name, it's on display for everyone. |

I have the same concern as Mike. Upon receiving an invite from one of my friends I RSVP'd and commented w/o realizing my entire name would permanently appear in the comment even after I signed up for an account.
I would like to make an even public and keep my guest list public without exposing last names. love your site! Thanks! |
